Right next to it in class is this big, fine, older (1960's? and still has its corner tassels), double horse blanket, in a thick two-sides-reverse twill...the colors reverse for every position in the pattern when you turn it over. I'm not a weaver but am told this is tricky to weave and takes extra time. All hand-spun yarn, vegetable/herbal and natural wool colors. This sort of horse blanket is as good as it gets and will likely outlast the horse. Big enough and thick enough to sleep on out on the trail or camping, just like the old days.  58” x 33”
